Ebusua Dwarfs came from behind to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 on matchday 26 of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League on Sunday to move out of the bottom three.

Enock Afram’s late strike helped the Crabs record a 2-1 win over the Scientific Soccer lads at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in Central Region.

The victory comes after they suffered a points deduction by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association last Wednesday when their matchday 23 with Legon Cities at home ended abruptly after reports suggested that their supporters threatened the match officials.

Liberty started the game very well and took a deserving lead when Micheal Laryea’s freekick beat goalkeeper Bright Quaye in the 10th minute.

Seidu Abubakar levelled the score for the home side in the 21st minute as they continued to pile on the pressure on the visitors as the first half ended 1-1.

Ebusua Dwarfs continued to dominate the second half as well and eventually got the winner late on to clinch all three points through Enock Afram in the dying moments of the game.

The victory has lifted Ebusua Dwarfs out of the bottom three of the Ghana Premier League to 15th position with 28 points.
