Berekum Chelsea and Karela United played out a 1-1 draw in a high profile fixture of matchday 26 of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The match had few talking points to report in the first half with both teams comfortable in possession without really creating any moments of real danger as it ended goalless at the break.

After the interval, the visitors upped their game and were rewarded with a goal through Diawisie Taylor, who struck his 15th goal of this campaign, in the 53rd minute.

The home team equalised when Stephen Amankona converted a neat penalty in the 79th minute.

Both teams had some big chances but failed to convert them as the game finished 1-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.

The Pride and Passion have dropped from the Ghana Premier League top-four following failure to beat the Bibires, they now are sitting 5th in the league table with 42 points.
