Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots promises to be an enticing affair. Looking at the teams on paper, Falcons do have the advantage in terms of offensive strength with Matt Ryan leading the charge. Patriots’ main challenge will be to tackle the Falcons juggernaut.

Falcons have a remarkable record coming into this game having scored in each of their first possession in last eight games.

The game inevitably promises to be a high scoring affair & the question will be whether the Patriots can go toe to toe with the Falcons.

National Anthem & Super Bowl Half Time Show

It was announced well in advance that Lady Gaga would be the one who’ll be headlining the Superbowl LI half-time show. Having sung the National Anthem in Superbowl 50, Gaga should have no trouble in trumping Coldplay’s half-time show from the previous year. Nevertheless, 100+ million who are expected to tune into the big final will be expecting a grand performance from one of the applauded lady superstars in the modern era.

Country Musician Luke Bryan will be the one to kick-off the event by singing the national anthem. The 40 year singer from Nashville, Tennessee is one of the top Country artists in the business & will be hoping to kick the event off to a grand start.

Past Meeting

Super Bowl LI Tips

The last time the Super Bowl was played in the NRG Stadium was back in 2004.

New England Patriots went on to win the 3rd of their 4 Super Bowl titles beating Carolina Panthers, 32-29. It astonishing how little these teams have come face to face, only 14 times have these met & Patriots have the advantage with 7 wins to the Falcons’ 6.

The last time these two teams meet was in a regular season fixture back in 2013. Patriots went on to win the game 30-23 with Brady throwing a total of 316 yards & 2 touchdowns. Ryan also impressed throwing a total of 421 & 2 touchdowns with one interception.

The first ever meeting between the two teams took place back in September 1972 & the Patriots’ once again emerged as the winners in a close affair (21-20)

Super Bowl Betting Tips

Patriots have the big match experience as they eye their 5th Superbowl title. It should head into the game with confidence having registered 9th AFC title beating the Steelers 36-17.

The Patriots’ last Superbowl appearance came in 2014 & went on to win the title beating the Seahawks 28-24. A Patriots’ win would help Brady move to a league of his own being the first player to win 5 Superbowl titles. He was phenomenal in their AFC Championship game, ripping apart the Steelers defence by throwing a total of 384 yards & three touchdowns.

As for the Falcons, this only the second time that they’ll feature in the Superbowl. The last time they had reached the big final, they ended up going down to the Broncos 34-19.

They’ve been the best offensive unit this season & if they can pull-off a repeat of their NFC Championship game against the Packers then as they say – there is a first for everything.
