West Brom vs Tottenham Hotspurs
Tony Pulis has already started fine tuning the Baggies since he has taken over, they are unbeaten in the four matches (twice in the league and twice in the FA Cup) they’ve played under him and have picked up four points from two matches in the league so far, with both being clean sheets.
Pulis is looking set to perform a sequel to what he had done at Palace last season. A win against Spurs on Saturday could lift them up to 12th spot provided other results go in their favor.
Spurs have been in reasonably good form of late; they have picked up 13 points from the last six games in the league and have already booked a place in the League Cup final at Wembley by winning the midweek League Cup semi-final clash against Sheffield United FC.
Spurs need a win here if they are to cling on to their hope of a top 4 finish, they currently have 37 points from 22 games and are sitting 6th in the table three points behind 4th placed Manchester United. Spurs however will be facing a re-ignited Arsenal and Liverpool in their next two matches in the league so they cannot stutter against West Brom on Saturday.
Pulis’s new signing for West Brom Callum McManaman will probably make his debut for the club on Saturday. Spurs though will be boosted by the return of Nacer Chadli from the African Cup of Nations.
Prediction West Brom vs Tottenham Hotspurs: – Spurs Win (They match will be entertaining but Spurs will probably nick it with a Christain Eriksen goal?)
