Diawisie Taylor scored his 14th league goal of the season as Karela United beat Eleven Wonders 2-0 at CAM Park on Sunday afternoon to maintain their hopes of winning the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The in-form attacker, Taylor, fired the Pride and Passion ahead on the stroke of the first half before Bismark Oppong doubled their lead early on after halftime.

The victory left the Anyinase-based club second place with 41 points, 4 points behind first-placed Asante Kotoko after their 1-1 draw with Liberty at Sogakope.

Karela United made an early substitution to their line-up as Prosper Avor was replaced by Kwaku Osei after picking an injury in the 28th minute.

Diawisie Taylor scored the opener for the home side in the 42nd minute with a cool finish.

After the break, the Pride and Passion doubled their lead through Bismark Oppong in the 48th minute of the game to record a 2-0 win over the Tachiman-based club.

Karela United will travel to play Berekum Chelsea, who were beaten mercilessly by Inter Allies, in the match week 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
