Antoine Griezmann scored a stunning bicycle kick as France completed their Euro 2020 preparations by beating Bulgaria 3-0.

The reigning world champions fielded a strong lineup in their final friendly before the European Championships. The French team had Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema and Antoine Griezmann leading the attack.

Griezmann opened the scoring for France in the 29th minute with an acrobatic bicycle kick that took a deflection on its way in.

Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud came off the bench to bag a brace by scoring in the 83rd and 90th minute to make sure of the victory for Les Bleus.

France open their Group F campaign at Euro 2020 on Tuesday, 15 June with a tough tie against Germany before playing Hungary on Saturday, 19 June and then facing Portugal on Wednesday, 23 June.

One of European football’s heavyweights will be knocked out in the group stage of the tournament as only two of France, Germany and Portugal will make the knockout stages of Europe’s biggest international competition. If Hungary can pull off an upset then we may see two top teams failing to qualify from the ‘Group of Death’.
