What is the CAF Champions League?
The CAF Champions League is an annual club competition run by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
It is Africa’s version of the UEFA Champions League with the top clubs in Africa competing to be crowned the best club in the continent.

Egypt’s Al Ahly are the most successful club in CAF Champions League history. The Red Devils have won the tournament a record nine times.
City rivals Zamalek have won the competition on five occasions as well, which makes Egyptian clubs the most successful in African football.
Congolese club TP Mazembe have five titles to their name. Morocco has historically done well in the tournament too with Raja Casablanca winning the Champions League three times and Wydad Casablanca winning the tournament a couple of times as well.
