Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) is a department under the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. The Board was established by an Act of Parliament i.e. Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act Cap 131 Laws of Kenya.
BCLB licenses, regulates, advises, and provides guidance to the individuals and businesses that offer gaming in Kenya.

Mandate
The Act provides for the control and licensing of Betting and Gaming premises and the activities carried therein; for the imposition and recovery of taxes, for the authorization of lotteries and prize competition as well as the eradication of illegal gambling.
