Euro 2016 Final Predictions & Bet Tips
Euro 2016 has certainly been one heck of a roller coaster ride. 24 teams came to France with the hope of becoming the European champions but heading into the final week of the tournament only four teams remain. Portugal were the first team to qualify for the Semi’s and funny enough are yet to win a game in this tournament in normal time. Wales overcame Belgium in the quarters and have become the smallest nation to ever qualify for the semi-finals of either the Euro’s or the World Cup.
The World Champions Germany had to go to the full length against Italy to book a place in the semi-finals. The last of the four semifinalists are as expected the hosts France who battered the ultimate underdogs Iceland in the quarters.
In this article we’ll be predicting the outcomes of the semi-finals and the Final and give Free betting tips as to who’ll be winner, top scorers and other valuable betting tips.

Euro 2016 Semi Final Analysis
It’s interesting as to how the Semi Final fixtures have turned up. First of our Euro 2016 Semi Finals see Portugal who have stuttered and crawled their way here going against Wales who’ve exceeded all expectations. The second of our semi finals have pitted two of the pre-tournament favorites against each other i.e, Germany and hosts France.
Portugal vs Wales
Not many of the pundits or bookies would have expected these two teams to make it out to this stage. Portugal who hadn’t won nor lost a game in the group stage qualified for the knockouts only as one among the 4 best 3rd place finishers. They were handed difficult ties against Croatia and Poland but still came out on top and now await their next opponents as possibly the favorites.
Wales have been our team of the tournament as they have backed up our predictions & bets the most. We predicted them to top their group ahead of England and they did. We backed them to beat Belgium and they did. Can the smallest nation to have ever reached the final 4 of a World Cup or European Championship create history by reaching the finals?
Our verdict is yes!
Portugal have been riding their luck till now, it’s not that they have been playing poor but the Portuguese are yet to put forward a convincing performance. Portugal do have the experience playing in European semi-finals as this will be their 5th in 7 tournament appearances. Their defense however has been suspect at times, scoring goals has been a problem and the lack of creativity in midfield is also worrying.
As for Wales their biggest asset till now that has helped them reach this stage has undoubtedly been their team spirit. The likes of Ashley Williams, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen & Gareth Bale have all stood up and delivered when required and you get the sense that they want the team to win rather than raising their stock in the transfer market.
Result: – Wales take a early 2-0 lead but Portugal get one back in the 2nd half but cannot breakdown the Welsh defense to score the equalizer. Wales win 2-1
Germany vs France
The World Champions will face of against the host nation in the 2nd of the semi finals in what is undoubtedly a match worth the final. The Germans have been their usual self, they came into the tournament on the back of a poor run of form by their standards but have raised their game when it’s been required. They overcame their biggest hoodoo team in major tournaments – Italy even if it was via penalties.
The hosts France have barely been convincing up and until the quarter finals. In the group stages they had to bank on injury time goals to get the points and were trailing for most of the game against Ireland in round of 16’s. However in the quarters against Iceland they produced a performance worthy of the champions taking a 4-0 lead in the 1st half and winning the game 5-2.
Who’ll come out on top? Germany!
Germany so far are yet to concede from open play with the only goal they’ve conceded being an Italian penalty. As for France they might have thumped Iceland in the quarters but their opponents did find holes in their defense. Germany will be missing Hummels, Khedria & Gomez while France will be at their full quota. It’s a game that is even on the papers but ultimately the tactical prowess of Joachim Low will get their better of Didier Deschamps.
The game will head into half time 0-0 with both teams not worrying either defenses but Germany will get the lead after 70 minutes and France will struggle getting the equalizer. Germany win (1-0)
Euro 2016 Finals – Wales vs Germany
David vs Goliath – Debutantes vs World Champions.
Even the Welsh supporters wouldn’t have dreamed of this moment. Germany will be the favorites and Joachim Low will be confident of his team especially having overcome Italy & France to reach this stage. Wales will be underdogs by some margin but they wouldn’t mind that, would they? They are here in Paris with only 90/120 minutes separating them from immortality if they get the win.
Germany will open the scoring half way through the first half and will take the lead into the break. Upon restart the Wales will throw everything at the German defense from the get go but sadly will get caught out in the counter and concede the second. The Wales heads will start to drop but around the 70th minute Gareth Bale will do what he does best. A dipping strike from 30 yards out will beat Lloris & Wales are back in this.
Germany will take their one goal lead into the second half injury time and Wales have a corner. Bale curves it into the box and Mangala clears but boom it’s Aaron Ramsey with a scorcher and Wales have equalized against the World Champions.
Could you believe it? End of Normal time (2-2)
Extra time sees Germans trying all they can but Wales hold on and we are down to Penalties. Each team converts their respective spot kicks till Wales are leading 5-4. Schweinsteiger steps up for the Germans to take the final penalty before Sudden Death. He starts his run up and sends his shot over the bar. Could you believe it?
Wales against all odds are the European Champions
*As you might have noticed this is just a fantasy prediction of the game but we do expect Wales to push the Germans and if it goes down to penalties they have every chance to come out on top.

Back to reality now and as per the bookies Germans are the marginal favorites to win their 4th European Championship.A close second favorite is France while Portugal are the third favorites and Wales completes the line-up.
The bookies are backing the eventual Euro 2016 winner to come from the Germany vs France tie. The logical option is Germany off course not only because of their experience playing at this stage but also because most of those players have been their and won it before.
As bettors we have been told time and time again not to trust your heart when placing your money. However this is one of those moments when betting with your heart might prove to be fruitful. Wales are the overwhelming underdogs to win the title. However their team is composed of players who are mostly playing in the top European league and do have experience winning trophies even though it’s not with their national side.
We all want a good story and Wales are certainly a team capable creating one. This is why i’ll be backing Wales to win Euro 2016 – For the Odds & The Story.
