Stoke City vs Queens Park Rangers

Stoke City are currently lying in no man’s land with 29 points from 22 games (10th) and looks destined for another midtable finish. They don’t look like they will be dragged down to the relegations battle but they also don’t look like they will trouble any of the clubs who are currently above them.

Stoke has suffered a huge blow with the injury to Bojan Krkic. He was injured during Stoke’s 4-1 FA Cup 5th round win over Rochdale and will miss rest of the season.  The Spanish striker has been impressive in his first season with Stoke but now will have to sit out for the remainder of the season.

Mame Biram Diouf is expected to return to the Stoke team after his national side Senegal got knocked out of the AFCON tournament.

QPR unlike Stoke, are right in the middle of the relegation battle, they are currently 19th in the table with 19 points from 22 games. It’s a simple equation for QPR, if they don’t start performing away from home they will be relegated at the end of the season. The Rangers have lost all the 10 away games in the season so far and even their home form recently hasn’t been that great as well.

QPR can move away from the bottom three this week with a win provided the other results go their way.
