Liverpool FC have been smart in the transfer market so far, they’ve arguably made the biggest steal thus far adding James Milner from Manchester City on a free transfer.

The additions of Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne have further strengthened their squad but Brendan Rodgers ain’t content and is looking to add more star power to his midfield.

Asier Illarramendi who has fallen out of favor at Real Madrid is wanting a move away from the club and will happen if Real Madrid are able to sign 32£ million rated Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho.

Liverpool are prepared to pay upto 16£ million for the Spanish midfielder and look to be the front-runners to sign him if Real are willing to let him go while Real Madrid´s new player Danilo is presented to the fans with a massive FAIL.

Raheem Sterling new Liverpool player 2015

As per reports Manchester City are preparing a third and “final” 45£ million bid for Liverpool’s young starlet Raheem Sterling.

The Liverpool star who is desperately wanting a move away from the club has made his intentions clear by giving a couple of Liverpool’s pre-season training sessions a miss by calling in sick. Sterling’s agent Aidey Ward has been pretty vocal for his client has already resulted in him losing a high profile player in Saido Berahino.

Writer’s Comment: – For a club that has served as a home for some of the greats of the game like Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish and Steven Gerrard the kind of attitude being shown by Raheem Sterling and his agent towards the club has been pretty sickening to say the least.

Chelsea Transfers: Pedro Rodriguez and Asmir Begovic

The defending champions have strengthened their already formidable strike force by  aquiring the Radamel Falcao loan earlier this week and is about to further add to its attacking strength by signing Barcelona star Pedro Rodriguez to the squad.

The Spanish international has found it hard to break in the Barcelona first team and is now looking for opportunities else where.

Liverpool looked to be front-runners for his signing but Chelsea have now leapfrogged the Reds as the front-runners for his signing.

An amount of 14.4£ million is thought to be enough to lure the player away from Barcelona.

Chelsea has found an replacement for Petr Cech in Asmir Begovic, the Stoke goalkeeper valued at 8£ million is set to join the Blues later today.

The soon to be former Stoke Keeper will start the campaign as an understudy to Thibaut Courtois. 22yr old Netherlands international Marco Van Gil will move to Stoke on loan from Chelsea as part of the deal.

Manchester City Transfers 2015: Kevin De Bryune

Kevin-De-Bruyne

In a couple of seasons with Wolfsburg the former Chelsea reject has made quite a name for himself and is one of Europe’s hottest names right now (metro.uk)

Manchester City’s pursuit of Kevin De Bruyne is about to enter the final stretch as Wolfsburg and Bruyne’s agent are holding talks over a potential move back to the Premier League. Manchester City are willing to pay an amount of around 35£ million for the player but the German club aren’t too keen to let go of one of the most sought after players so quickly and has already offered him a new deal.

Even if Wolfsburg agree to let go of De Bruyne Manchester City will have stiff competition from PSG and Barcelona who are both interested in signing the player.

City have already added a new face to their squad today – 18yr old striker David Faupala from French club Lens.

Another player who’ll soon be a Manchester City player is Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, the Citizens are ready to activate his 8£ million buy-out clause. If this is to happen then it will certainly be one of biggest steals this summer.
