Impressed by his work we at Footballbetting.org decided to sit down to with the Amit and get to know a bit more about him, his work and how his love for Manchester United started.

How did your love with Manchester United start?

It all started with one man – Ryan Giggs. It was during the 1991/1992 season, I was 9 years old and my uncle took me and my older brother to watch the old First Division game between Luton Town vs Manchester United at Kenilworth Road.

Manchester United under the leadership of Sir Alex Ferguson were just starting to show their might. The team on the day had the likes of Peter Schmeichel, Gary Pallister, Steve Bruce, Lee Sharpe, Ryan Giggs and Mark Hughes and the game finished 1-1 with Lee Sharpe on the scoresheet.

At the time there was this national buzz around Giggs in the media. He was touted to being the next superstar so I was excited to see him play, even though I was in the home stand supporting my local team Luton Town I was glued to Giggs for the full 90 mins and being in awe of his pace and trickery. It was during this season that my love for Ryan Giggs and Manchester United began.

What is it about Ryan Giggs that makes him stand out from the rest?

The two things I admire the most about Giggs is his longevity and professionalism. In his early years as a young winger he was tearing defenses apart with his pace and trickery and then in his late 30’s he eased into the role of a central midfielder but the balance and ability to still influence a game.

What he has achieved at Manchester United is remarkable and this will never be replicated by another player at one club and for me he is Manchester United’s and the Premier League’s greatest ever player, a true football legend.

How did you get your self involved with Designing?

I got into designing from a very early age initially it was a hobby but later on became my career. During my school years I won a lot of art competitions but it was during my college and university days that I began getting more recognition for my work .Through designing I am able to channel my huge passion for sport in my work. I love what I do, to be able to wake up every morning knowing your doing something you love as a job is so rewarding.

Do you do your designs for Manchester United only or on other interests as well?

When I created my ‘MUFC Design’ blog in 2013 my intention was to design strictly for Manchester United but being a sport fanatic I gradually expanded my realm of work to American football, basketball and cricket as mini side projects.

My plan for the near future is to setup a sport design blog where I can showcase my work across many sports to a worldwide audience. I just want to continue learning and progressing as a designer and hopefully in the near future be presented with an opportunity to work as a creative designer for Manchester United which is a dream I have been working towards.

What is you’re take on United’s season so far and the Louis Van Gaal Era?

It was a slow start to the season but that was always going to be case with a new manager and a whole host of new players at the club. Injuries also didn’t help our course at the start of the season but last month has seen us with a fully fit squad and the players are now fighting for starting positions which wasn’t the case at the start of the campaign.

Now with a fully fit squad and everyone believing in Van Gaal’s philosophy and the team is playing with a lot of confidence and everything just seems to be clicking now which is evident from the 6 game unbeaten run we have managed to put together.

Whoever is the manager at Manchester United I will support them 100%. Louis Van Gaal is someone that i have admired a lot, his philosophies and arrogance makes him a perfect fit for Manchester United and hopefully he will have a few more league titles and another champions league trophy under his belt before he calls time on his managerial career.

My player of the season has to be David De Gea who has had an unbelievable season his performance against Liverpool in the derby is one of the best performances by keeper in recent memory. Ander Herrera is another one that is quickly becoming my favorite player, I am already looking forward to next season.

Louis-Van-Gaal

It’s difficult to replace Sir Alex Ferguson but if anyone can take United forward from here it is Louis Van Gaal

Do you think United are the same after the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson?

Manchester United will never be the same after the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. What he has done for United and football in general will never be repeated by a single manager at any other club.

It was always going to be tough for whoever came in to manage  United after Sir Alex. I personally thought the job was too big for David Moyes and it should have be given to a manager with experience at a big club, someone like Ancelotti or Mourinho but now I’m so happy we have Van Gaal and I honestly believe the club is in good hands. It’s only a matter of time till the glory days are back at Old Trafford.

After a shaky start to the 2014/15 season United have almost confirmed their place in the Champions League next season

Finally, who according to you are United’s biggest rivals and which is you’re favorite Manchester United match?

Liverpool for me are United’s biggest rivals, I have 3 brothers that all support Liverpool so this is the fixture i look forward to every season and i hate seeing United lose to them.

There are so many memorable matches but the two that stand out for me are the 1998/99 Champions League Final & the 2009/10 Manchester derby.
