Liverpool to win 3-0, Liverpool were hardly convincing in their win against Stoke last week but there were enough signs to suggest that the Reds are a team on the rise. A lot is expected of Liverpool this campaign and Brendan Rodgers needs to deliver considering the amount of money he has spend in the last couple of seasons.
As for Bournemouth they come into this season with more modest ambitions of survival, they went down fighting against Villa last week and will need to play out of their skins if they are to get a result at Anfield.

Liverpool’s latest Brazilian acquisition Roberto Firmino came of the bench against Stoke last week and is expected to make his first Premier League start on Monday
Liverpool come into this game on the back of a hard earned 1-0 victory against Stoke City last week. Liverpool who were marginally the better for most parts of the game got the three points thanks to a wonder-strike from Philippe Coutinho in the 86th minute.
It’s the third consecutive season that Liverpool have started a new season with a win. The last time Liverpool beat Stoke on the opening day of the season (2013/14) they went onto challenge for the title eventually finishing as the runners-up.
For the second season running Liverpool are in a state of transition with as many as 7 new players coming into the squad this summer. However unlike the mad spending spree of the previous summer, the additions this term seem to be more calculated and thought out.
The likes of Milner, Clyne and Joe Gomez impressed on their debuts and it looks as if Liverpool are in for a good season ahead. Benteke also made his debut against the Potters but had little or no chance to score as he was largely isolated upfront.
Liverpool has never lost a game against the Boscombes in their previous six meetings, with the Reds winning four games and the other two ending in draws.
Brendan Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns heading into the game on Monday, although the duo of Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan still remain in the long term injury list and Joe Allen is also not expected to return for another 3 weeks.

Bournemouth Prediction
No one expected Eddie Howie and his men to get promoted from the Championship last season but they exceeded expectations and won promotion by winning the division. The Premier League is a whole different ball game though so can the Boscombes prove their doubters wrong once again?
Bournemouth come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Villa last week. Bournemouth who were the better team for most parts of the game failed to capitalize on the chances they created and ended up being sunk by a Rudy Gestede header in the second half.
For a club that was on the verge of dropping out of league football less than a decade ago the prospect of facing Liverpool at Anfield should be enough and more motivation to put in a good performance.
How can they get a result against Liverpool? For starters they should be more clinical in front of the goal. Liverpool have the pace on the wings and can hurt them on the counter, Bournemouth has to be patient on the ball and make the most of the chances when they come their way.
Bournemouth has suffered 4-1 defeats in their previous two trips to Anfield in 1927 and 1968. Bournemouth completed 464 passes in their opening day defeat to Villa, only City and Arsenal have done better in this regard.
The Boscombes only injury concern heading into the game is Harry Arter who’ll sit out with a groin injury other than that Ian Howie has a fully fit squad to choose from.

The last time these two teams played against each other it was in the League Cup quarter-final last season and the Reds registered a comfortable 3-1 win, with Raheem Sterling scoring a brace and Lazar Markovic scoring his first ever Liverpool goal.
