Everton come into this match on the back of an impressive 4-1 win over Swiss side BSC Young Boys in the Europa League round of 32 with a Romelu Lukaku hat-trick to boost.
Everton have slowly but surely have started showing glimpses of last year’s form that saw them finish 5th in the table. They are currently 12th in the table and closer to the relegation spots that to the European spots. They only way that they can hope for European action next season is to win the Europa League.
In their last Premier League game they narrowly lost to league leaders Chelsea. Everton’s only league win this Calendar year came against Palace in January. They have lost just two of their last seven but most of their games have ended in draws. They have lacked the decisive punch to get over the line in tight games.
Everton will be without their veteran midfielder Gareth Barry who is sidelined serving a suspension after picking up a red card during their defeat versus Chelsea last week.
Leighton Baines is fit again for selection which will be a huge boost for Roberto Martinez’s men.
Leicester City

Bottom of the table but top of the list when it comes to the team that are most backed by the Sports-books to go down this year. Leicester has had a torrid time in the Premier League this season with their one positive glimpse being the 5-3 win over United early in the season.
They are on a four game losing streak and have picked up just four points in their last 6 games. They are 5 points away from safety but a win here as unlikely as it sounds could take them within two points of safety and will give them a glimmer of hope of survival this season.
They did play well against Arsenal last week but ultimately went down 2-1. They come into this match on the back of a FA Cup 5th round exit versus Aston Villa. Leicester has won only one of their last 11 away games.
Both Chris Wood and Kasper Schmeichel are still out for the foxes with injuries.

The last time these two teams met this season it was an entertaining match that ended 2-2 with Ulloa and Chris Wood scoring for the foxes and the duo of McGeady and Naismith scoring for the Evertonians.
