Transfer News Premier League 2015-2The forthcoming 2015/16 is promising to be a cracker with big names such as Bastian Schweinsteiger, Memphis Depay and Roberto Firmino having already made the switch to England.

With less than a month left to the start of the campaign all 20 of the Premier League teams are set to switch to high gear as far as their transfer activity are concerned.

Manchester United has spend the most money thus far signing four players including Schweinsteiger, Depay, Darmian and Morgan Schneiderlin for 107.25€ million.

When it comes to numbers Watford are the team in front making 7 new additions to their side including Valon Behrami, Jose Holebas and Etienne Capoue.

The most expensive signing thus far has been Raheem Sterling who switched from Liverpool to two-time Premier League champions Manchester City for 69.1€ million.

Christian Benteke to Liverpool

Christian-Benteke transfer to Liverpool

Former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert strongly believes that the Benteke signing is cash well spent by Liverpool and expects the Belgian international to score tons of goals for the Reds(Mirror.co.uk)

This one isn’t a rumor as such. Benteke who was strongly linked to Liverpool ever since the end of last campaign will make a move to the Merseyside club for a fee of 46.5€ million.

Benteke who was signed by Aston Villa for 7.9€ million from Belgian club Genk back in 2012 and since then has gone onto make 100 appearances for the Clarets in all competitions and scoring 49 goals in total.

Benteke will be Liverpool’s 7th addition this summer and the second most expensive signing in their history. Liverpool fans are too convinced about signing the Belgian as they fear that a repeat of the Andy Carroll signing might occur. For Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers the Benteke signing will be a measuring stick of his reign at Liverpool FC.

Rodgers who has been fantastic in bringing up bright and talent from the club’s youth academy has been a major disappointment as far as his transfer signings are concerned. Last season he added 10 new players to the squad but none of them have been able to win the hearts of the Liverpool faithful.

Manchester United seems to have nearly won another transfer battle as they are reportedly on the verge of signing another one of their summer transfer targets – Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid. Rumors are suggesting that the Spanish international has verbally agreed to a move to Old Trafford but will be attending a emergency meet with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

United who have already submitted a 59.7€ bid for Ramos will be looking forward to adding the Spaniard as their 5th signing of the summer. Another player strongly linked with a move to United is Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller, if both these transfer are to go through it will take there transfer spending this summer in excess of 200€ million. Anybody heard of financial fair play??

Kevin Mirallas to West Ham

Kevin-Mirallas transfer to West Ham

Mirallas joined the Merseyside Blues in 2012 and since then has gone on to make 106 appearances for the club in all competitions and scoring 28 goals in total(dailystar.co.uk)

The 27yr old Everton winger is in high demand as Tottenham and West Ham United battle it out for the signing of the Belgian international. The Hammers have already gotten one of their bids rejected by the Evertonians but are expected to put in an improved bid pretty soon.

Mirallas is seen as a potential replacement for Stephen Downing who joined Middlesbrough earlier this week. West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is vary of interest from Tottenham for the winger. A fee of somewhere around 8€ million should be enough to loosen Everton’s hold on Mirallas.
